Análisis del perfil exterior de una economía. Estudio de caso: España, Portugal y Grecia

El presente trabajo aborda un análisis evolutivo de la situación financiera que han mantenido con el exterior tres economías europeas en particular entre los años 2000 y 2014: España, Portugal y Grecia. Posteriormente, se compara esta evolución con la de otros socios pertenecientes a la zona euro. Para ello, se utilizan dos indicadores que ofrecen una imagen fiel del perfil exterior que desarrolla una economía, la cuenta financiera, que se encuentra recogida en la balanza de pagos, y la posición de inversión internacional neta. Este estudio, ofrece una explicación de cómo varía la posición financiera de los países frente al resto del mundo, cuando los gobiernos aplican diferentes medidas que afectan directamente a la economía, con especial relevancia en el periodo de depresión económica que se ha vivido a nivel mundial en los recientes años.
