Republicanismo en una sociedad agraria (Jaén 1868-1931)

Abstract

The main of this article is to reflect on the role of the republicanism in the politicalization of rural means in Jaén and on the political culture developed by them. We will also write a brief account of the methodology and sources used in the course of our doctoral thesis, also presenting some of the conclusions with which our research can contribute to the historiography on the Spanish republicanism.; El presente artículo tiene por objeto realizar un análisis sobre el papel del republicanismo en la politización del medio rural jiennense y de la cultura política generada por éstos. También incluye una reseña de la metodología y fuentes utilizadas en la elaboración de nuestra tesis doctoral y presenta algunos de los resultados que nuestra investigación puede aportar a la historiografía sobre el republicanismo español.
