El coleccionismo de un linaje: Los Guevara. Estudio de dos Anunciaciones

Abstract

Dos pinturas flamencas de finales del siglo XV y principios del siglo XVI con el tema de la anunciación y portando el escudo de los guevara, sirven de base para reflexionar sobre el coleccionismo de pintura flamenca de uno de los linajes más cercanos a la corte de los Habsburgo, y con mayor peso en la política y mecenazgo de esta transición de siglo: los Guevara.; Two Flemish paintings of the late fifteenth and early sixteenth century with the topic of the Annunciation and bearing the guevara shield, serve to reflection on the collection of Flemish painting of one of the family closer to the court of the Habsburgs, and with great weight in politics and patronage in this change of the century: The Guevara.
