Abstract
Sektore aeronautikoan erabiltzen diren super-aleazio termorresistenteak lantzea erronka zaila da, ebaketa-erremintak azkar higatzen baititu. Horregatik, erreminta horien errendimendua hobetzeko, fabrikatzaileek, ebaketa geometriaren eragina ulertzea funtsezkoa dela uste dute. Hori dela eta, artikulu honetan erremintaren ebaketa sorbatzeko erradioak eta jaulkitze- zein azpijan-angeluek daukaten eragina aztertzen da. Abiapuntu gisa, diseinu esperimental (DOE) bat burutu da, non aurrean aipatutako hiru parametroen eragina kuantifikatzen den, Elementu Finituen Metodoaren (EF) bitartez. Ondoren, proba esperimentalei ekin zaie, EF softwaretik lortutako emaitza teorikoak balioztatzeko. Emaitzek erakusten dute ebaketa sorbatzearen erradioak erremintaren higaduran eragin zuzena daukala eta balio egokia aukeratuz erremintaren bizitza erabilgarria areagotzeko gai dela.; The thermoresistant super-alloys used in the aeronautical industry imply many problems to machine them such as the premature and excessive wear of the cutting tools. Therefore, to enhance their performance the tool manufacturers are focusing on the influence of the cutting-edge geometry. Hence, in this article a study of three different parameters of the tool, the cutting-edge radius, rake angle and clearance angle, has been carried out to analyse their influence on the tool life. First of all, a design of experiment (DOE) has been done using a program of Finite Elements Method (FEM), to discuss which of those parameters have more influence. Then, some experimental tests have been carried out to validate the conclusions obtained by the FEM simulations. The results show that the cuttingedge radio has the major influence in the wear of the tool and, with the appropriate value; the tool life can be increased.
