V3mm (r= 0,70; P= 0,003; IC95%: 0,300 a 1,18, SEE: 1,02), V4mm (r = 0.70; P = 0.04; IC95%: 0.293 a 1.22, SEE: 1.07). [EN] Purpose: The aim of the current study was to examine the relationship between performance of the 30–15 Intermittent Fitness Test (30-15IFT) and the lactate thresholds in elite female soccer players. Method: Fifteen elite female soccer players (age, 22 ± 5 years) who belonged to a Spanish women's First Division B soccer team participated in the study. They performed a discontinuous progressive maximal running test for determination of fixed blood lactate concentration (FBLC) thresholds, and an intermittent maximal running test for determintation of the (30-15IFT). Relationships between both tests were examined. Results: There was a large correlation between (30-15IFT) and lactate thresholds. V3mm (r = 0,70; P=0,003; 95% confidence limits [CL] 0.300 to 1,18). V4mm (r=0.70; P=0,04; 95% confidence limits [CL] 0.293 to 1,22). High corrleations between (30-15IFT) and submaximal heart rates and maximal aerobic speed were also founded. Conclusions: High correlation magnitudes and low SEEs indicate that VIFT could be estimated using lactate thresholds, or even with the submaximal variable V90. Therefore, the equations of the present study could be very useful to estimate one test through the other, and in this way, be able to guide continuous and interval training with these results.
