Literatura infantil y juvenil: cuentos de hoy, estereotipos de siempre

Abstract

[ES] La Literatura Infantil y Juvenil, como agente de socialización de primer orden, reproduce las pautas culturales, costumbres, comportamientos y estereotipos presentes en todas las sociedades. A partir de la crítica realizada a la Literatura en función, sobre todo, del sexismo presente en sus obras, se ha originado una concienciación para luchar contra los estereotipos. Por medio del análisis y clasificación de un corpus establecido, se comprobará si los estereotipos continúan vigentes en las obras infantiles y cómo la Literatura Infantil y Juvenil trata de hacerles frente.

[EUS] Haur eta Gazte Literaturak, sozializazio eragile nagusi bezala, gizarte guztietan dauden kultura arketipoak, ohiturak, jarrerak eta estereotipoak errepikatzen ditu. Literatura honi egin zaion kritikaz gero, batez ere bere obretan nabarmentzen den sexismoari buruz, estereotipoen kontra borrokatzeko kontzientziazioa sortu da. Ezarritako corpus baten analisia eta sailkapenaren bitartez, estereotipo hauek haurrentzako obretan indarrean jarraitzen badute egiaztatuko da baita ere Haur eta Gazte Literaturak nola egiten dion aurre ere.

[EN] Children´s and Young adults´ Literature, as the main agent of socialization, reproduces cultural archetypes, habits, behaviors and stereotypes that exist if every society. From the critic made to this Literature, especially about the sexism in their works, a raising awareness has appeared to fight against these stereotypes. Through an analysis and classification of an established corpus, it will be verified is those stereotypes continue prevailing in children´s books and how Children´s and Young adults´ Literature tries to confront them.
