Ama-hizkuntzaren eragina hirugarren hizkuntza bat ikasterako orduan

Abstract

[EUS] Gradu Amaierako Lan honen helburua da Euskadi bezalako eremu elebidun batean hirugarren hizkuntza bat ikasterako orduan ama-hizkuntzak duen eragina aztertzea. Horretarako, Tokieder eskola publikoko (Vitoria-Gasteiz) Lehen Hezkuntzako 6.mailako 8 ikasle ausaz hautatu dira (horietako lauk ama-hizkuntza euskara eta beste laurek gaztelania dutenak) eta haien ingelesezko ahozko gaitasuna ikertu da. Ikasleei hiru zeregin eskatu zaizkie. Batetik, eurek betetzeko galdetegia, beren hizkuntza-ohiturak eta ezagutza-maila neurtzeko. Bestetik, gurasoek betetzeko galdetegia. Eta azkenik, ingelesez zein gaztelaniaz eginiko ahozko elkarrizketa indibiduala.

[ES] El propósito de este Trabajo de Fin de Grado es analizar la influencia de la lengua materna a la hora de aprender una tercera lengua en un territorio bilingüe como es Euskadi. Para ello, se han escogido al azar ocho alumnas y alumnos de 6º de Primaria de la escuela pública Tokieder (Vitoria-Gasteiz), a las y los cuales se les evalúa su competencia oral en inglés. A los participantes se les ha pedido que realicen tres tareas. La primera, un cuestionario dirigido a ellos mismos, para conocer sus hábitos lingüísticos y su nivel de conocimiento. La segunda, un cuestionario dirigido a sus padres. Y, por último, una entrevista individual oral con cada uno de ellos en inglés y en castellano.

[EN] The aim of this end-of-degree project is to analyse the influence of the mother tongue in a bilingual region as Basque Country when it comes to learning a third language. To do that, eight 6th grade primary students of the Tokieder public school (Vitoria-Gasteiz) were randomly selected, and their English oral competence was evaluated. Participants were asked to do three different tasks. The first, a survey for themselves, to know their linguistic habits and their language knowleadge. The second, a survey for their parents. And finally, an individual oral interview in English and Spanish.
