Este trabajo de fin de grado es una aproximación teórica al concepto de crowdsourcing en un entorno digital. Este análisis plantea un recorrido a través de definiciones de diversas fuentes bibliográficas abarcando características, clasificaciones y ejemplos prácticos sobre este modelo de colaboración colectiva.
El crowdsourcing es un modelo de colaboración colectiva con el objetivo de resolver un problema o llevar a cabo un proyecto. Surge mediante una convocatoria abierta por parte de una empresa o institución a una multitud de usuarios que de forma voluntaria deciden involucrarse.
El presente documento analiza las formas que adopta este modelo y el medio a través del cual se pone en práctica: Internet. La web como red interactiva ofrece un entorno perfecto para que los usuarios aporten su talento y creatividad al servicio de unos objetivos con los que se siente identificado. El objetivo es descubrir las claves de la colaboración en red que propone el crowdsourcing.
