Análisis del funcionamiento, viabilidad y propuesta de posibles mejoras del uso de energías renovables en una isla

Abstract

[ES]El propósito de este documento es expresar el interés en el desarrollo de las energías renovables en la isla de La Palma. Con el objetivo general de reducir la dependencia del petróleo que tiene la isla, se analiza el funcionamiento de los diferentes tipos de energías renovables y las condiciones climatológicas de la isla de La Palma para poder comprobar después qué tipos de energías son las más adecuadas para implantarlas en esta. Posteriormente, se comprueba si la autosuficiencia energética sería posible o, en caso de no poder ser totalmente autosuficiente, qué parte de la demanda energética podría ser cubierta.

[EN]The aim of this document is to express the interest in the development of the renewable energies on the island of La Palma. With the overall objective of reducing oil dependence of the island, analyzing the operation of different types of renewable energy, weather conditions of the island of La Palma will be analyzed. Finally, after seeing which types of energies are best suited to the island, it will be verified whether self-sufficiency would be possible with these or, in case of not being totally selfsufficient, what part of the energy demand could be covered.
