Ume txikiaren gaitasunak: 0-1 urteko umetxo baten arretaren behaketa jolas librean

Abstract

[EUS] Azken urteotan Haur Hezkuntzak gure gizartean gero eta modu orokorragoan ematen ari den ume txikien eskolaratze goiztiarrari era aproposean erantzuteko erronkarekin egin du topo. Behar horren aurrean esku-hartzeko ardura duten hezitzaileek ume txikiaren gaitasunak ezagutzea ezinbestekoa dute umetxoen garapen onena bermatzeko. Gradu Amaierako Lan honen helburua ume txikien ahalmenak ezagutzea da, jaiotzetik mundua ezagutzeko grina duten izaki aktiboak direla baieztatuz. Lanaren abiapuntua, bizitzako lehen urtean dagoen umetxo baten jolas librearen behaketa izango da, berak hasitako jarduerekiko erakusten duen arreta delarik kontuan hartu den aztergai zehatza. Aurrera eramandako azterketa sakon honen emaitzek, ume txikien ahalmenak errespetatu eta haien gaitasunak behar den bezala sustatuz umetxoen garapen harmoniatsuaren alde egingo dela egiaztatzera eramango gaituzte.

[ES] La Educación Infantil se encuentra ante el reto de responder de manera adecuada a la escolarización temprana, una realidad cada vez más generalizada en nuestra sociedad. Los educadores y educadoras deben ser conocedores de las capacidades propias del bebé para asegurar su desarrollo óptimo. El objetivo de mi trabajo de fin de grado es documentar las competencias de los niños pequeños, seres activos desde su nacimiento y dotados de una gran inquietud por descubrir su entorno. El trabajo se centra en la observación del juego libre de un bebé en su primer año de vida, y más concretamente en el estudio de su atención hacia las actividades autoinducidas. Los resultados indican que si respetamos las capacidades propias de los niños pequeños y potenciamos sus competencias estaremos trabajando a favor de un desarrollo infantil harmónico.

[EN] The Child Education sector is expected to provide a quality response to early childhood schooling, an increasingly generalized trend in our societies. Education providers need to be knowledgeable of children’s capabilities in the early months so as to ensure the optimal development of infants and toddlers. Children are active human beings from birth, with a distinct interest in exploring their environments. Thus, the main objective of my graduation thesis is to document children’s competencies in the early months of life. My research focuses on the observation of an infant’s free play during her first year of life, and more specifically on her attention to self-inducted activities. The analysis of my findings indicate that by respecting children’s capabilities and by appropriately fostering their competencies in the first months of life we will be contributing to children’s harmonious development in infancy and early childhood.
