Zergatik dira irakurzaleagoak irakurle hasi berriak trebatuenak baino?: Lehen Hezkuntzako ikasleekin egindako azterketa

Abstract

[EUS] Irakurketak Lehen Hezkuntzako etapan dauden umeengan duen garrantzia kontuan hartuta, azken hauek irakurketaren bidez jasotzen dituzten onurak eta haurrak irakurzaletzeko gakoak ezagutu nahi izan ditugu marko teorikoaren bidez. Lan enpirikoan LHko ikasleei irakurketarekin duten harremanaren inguruan galdetu diegu: harekiko duten interesaren, motibazioaren eta ohituren inguruan, alegia, horiek guztiak aldagai batetik aztertuta: adina. Izan ere, interesa genuen haurren irakurketarekiko harremana adinarekin aldatzen ote den frogatzeko, eta arrazoiak aztertuta, konponketarako bideak bilatzeko. Horrez gain, azterketan irakurgaietako hizkuntza aukerari ere garrantzia eman zaio. Lanean, hortaz, ikerketa kuantitatibo bat aurrera eraman da eta adinak irakurzaletasunean eragina duela ondorioztatu da. Azkenik, adinaren eragin negatiboa ekidin eta irakurketaren sustapenean lagun dezaketen irtenbide berriak proposatu dira.

[ES] Dada la importancia de la lectura para los niños de Educación Primaria, se han querido conocer, a través del marco teórico, los beneficios que estos últimos obtienen de la lectura y las bases para fomentar el gusto por ella. En el trabajo empírico, hemos preguntado a los/las alumnos/as de EP sobre la relación que tienen con la lectura: intereses, motivación y costumbres-lectoras, todo ello desde una variable: la edad. De hecho, hemos querido comprobar si la relación con la lectura cambia con la edad para así poder buscar soluciones, después de analizar las razones. Además, en esta investigación, también hemos dado importancia a la elección de la lengua a la hora de leer. Por tanto, se ha llevado a cabo una investigación cuantitativa y se ha llegado a la conclusión de que la edad influye en la lectura por placer. Por último, se han propuesto soluciones nuevas que pueden evitar la influencia negativa de la edad y ayudar en el fomento de la lectura.

[EN] Due to the importance that reading have for Primary School children, this work analyses the benefits that reading brings to children and the bases to promote the reading for pleasure. In the empirical part, we asked some students of PE about the relationship they have with reading: interests for reading, motivation and reading habits, with one variable: the age. In fact, we wanted to know if the relationship with reading changes with the age in order to search for solutions after analysing the reasons. Moreover, we have also given importance to the choice of language, in this investigation. A quantitative investigation has been carried through and it has been demonstrated that the age has influence on reading for pleasure. Finally, new solutions which could avoid the negative influence of the age and help on the promotion of reading have been proposed.
