Medidas para prevenir y reducir las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero provenientes del transporte marítimo

Abstract

ESPAÑOL La contaminación atmosférica a nivel mundial, lleva ya muchos años aumentando descontroladamente. Indudablemente el transporte marítimo tiene responsabilidad en este asunto. Afortunadamente la Organización Marítima Internacional (OMI) trabaja en este problema para ir moderándolo, por lo que se cita la regulación que establece esta Organización sobre los límites de la cantidad de emisiones que deben y que deberán generar los buques. No es fácil de desarrollar una solución ya que entran bastantes variables en juego. Este trabajo trata sobre los cambios que se tienen que producir en el modo de operar por el buque, en el diseño y equipamiento de los nuevos barcos y también la colaboración y adaptación por parte de los puertos a los cambios necesarios.

Zorionez, Itsasoaren Nazioarteko Erakundea lan egiten hari du arazo honetan ahal den neurrian moderatzeko. Beraz, aipatzen dira erakunde honen igorpenei buruzko arauak. Ez da erresa konponbidea ematea, aldagarri asko parte hartzen dutelako. Lan honetan ikus dezakegu zein aldaketak egin behar diren itsasontzien ekipamenduan, diseinuan, eta portuen kolaborazioan eta haien moldaketan batez ere.

INGLES The air pollution has been increasing uncontrollably for many years. Undoubtedly sea transport has responsibility in this matter. Hopefully, the International Maritime Organization works (IMO) on the problem to moderate it. So, on the below thesis, is cited the regulation that establish this Organization about the limits of the ships’ emissions which will must be allowed. It´s not easy to develop a solution because there are a lot of variables. This thesis shows the changes that they have to make on ships from operational-level, to about design and the equipment of new ships. And also, the collaboration and adjustments from the ports.
