Pedro Almodóvar: heredero del cine clásico

Abstract

El núcleo del presente artículo pretende establecer los nexos existentes entre la obra de Pedro Almodóvar y el cine clásico de Hollywood, y para ello hago referencia a secuencias y títulos de algunas de las películas más representativas de los grandes Estudios. La intertextualidad establecida entre el modelo norteamericano de los 30, 40 y 50 y la filmografía del director manchego es una realidad que viene a demostrar, frente a una industria al servicio de los videojuegos y los efectos especiales, que los filmes con argumentos complejos y maduros no están anticuados, únicamente olvidados por una producción en serie que en nada beneficia al futuro del sector cinematográfico; The purpose of this article is to establish the relationships between Pedro Almodóvar´s work and Classical Hollywood cinema. For this reason I refer to different sequences and titles of the most representative films of Great Studios. The established intertextuality between American films of the Thirties, Forties and Fifties with the fimography of the Spanish film director is a reality. This demonstrates that movies with complex and strong plots are not old fashioned, in opposite to VideoGame and Special Effects industry. The movies are only forgotten by a serial production that damages the future of film industry.; Artikulu honen xedea Pedro Almódovar-en lanaren eta Hollywood-eko zinema klasikoaren artean dauden loturak ezartzea da, horretarako estudio handietako pelikularik esanguratsuenetako batzuen izenburuak eta sekuentziak aipatzen ditudalarik. 30, 40 eta 50 hamarkadetako eredu iparamerikarraren eta zuzendari mantxatarraren arteko testuartekotasunak zera erakusten du, bideojokoen eta efektu berezien zerbitzura dagoen industriaren aurrean, argudio konplexu eta helduak dituzten filmak ez daudela zaharkituta, zinemagintzaren etorkizunari batere mesederik egiten ez dion serie-ekoizpenak ahaztuta baizik.
