Del comportamiento en situaciones educativas, ¿queda algo por descubrir?

Abstract

En conmemoración del 150 aniversario de la fundación de la Escuela de Magisterio de Alava se organizaron diversos actos científicos y culturales. Este texto es el resumen de una conferencia impartida el 25 de febrero de 1997 cuyo propósito era el de transmitir a un amplio público el sentido que tiene la investigación en los centros universitarios dedicados a la formación de enseñantes. ¿Qué queda por descubrir, por investigar, en psicodidáctica? El autor ofrece un amplio abanico de sugerencias: los mecanismos que explican la construcción de significados, las claves del conocimiento experto, la naturaleza de los diversos tipos de conocimiento, cómo enseñar y aprender por medio de todas las inteligencias, cómo desarrollar la inteligencia emocional¿ y, muy especialmente, cómo evitar el conocimiento inerte tan frecuente en nuestros medios escolares.; On celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Escuela de Magisterio (Teacher Training College) of Alava foundation, several scientific and cultural events were organized. This text is the summary of a lecture held on February 25th, 1997, the objective being to transmit to a big audience the sense that research has in university centres devoted to teacher training. What is there left to be discovered, researched, in psychodidactic? The author presents a wide range of suggestions: the mechanisms which explain the construction of meanings, the keys of the expert knowledge, the nature of the various types of knowledge, how to teach and learn by means of all kinds of intelligence, how to develop emotional intelligence¿ and, very especially, how to avoid passive knowledge so frequent in our schooling environment.
