In this article, the analysis of sentences using the morpheme -(e)la is carried out, using as a reference the speech of young people. The objective is to study these sentences in oral language, for sentences constructed with -(e)la are more and more frequent in Basque and, little by little, we believe it is taking on different grammatical connotations. These sentences are made with the purpose of expressing astonishment, justifying something, responding and giving a pretext, among others.
