Pil-pilean dauden gaiak Lehen Hezkuntzako gizarte zientziak lantzeko

Abstract

[EU] Gizarte zientzien xede nagusia, ikasleak gizartean elkarbizitzeko eta kritikoki jarduteko prestatzea da. Horretarako metodologia eta praktika egokiak sustatu behar dira, irakaskuntza-ikaskuntza prozesuan zehar ikasleek motibatuta eta parte-hartze aktiboarekin ikas dezaten. Horregatik, ikerketa honen helburua, pil-pilean dauden gaiak Lehen Hezkuntzako gizarte-zientzietan lantzeak duen eragina eta beharra aztertzea da. Bide horretan, Lehen Hezkuntzako 5. mailako ikasle talde bat eta lau ikastetxetako irakasleak izan dira ikerketako parte-hartzaileak. Erabili den metodologia kuantitatiboa eta kualitatiboa izan da eta informazioa galdetegien bitartez eskuratu da. Ondorio gisa, esan daiteke, pil-pilean dauden gaiak ikasgelan landuz ikasleek kritikotasuna lantzen dutela eta beraien motibazioa eta parte-hartzea indartzen direla.

[ES] El objetivo principal de las ciencias sociales es preparar al alumnado para convivir y actuar críticamente en la sociedad. Para ello, es necesario fomentar metodologías y prácticas adecuadas para que el alumnado aprenda con motivación y participación activa durante el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje. Por ello, el objetivo de esta investigación es analizar la incidencia y la necesidad de trabajar temas candentes en las ciencias sociales de Educación Primaria. En este sentido, han participado en la investigación un grupo de alumnos/as de 5º de Primaria y profesores/as de cuatro centros. La metodología empleada ha sido cuantitativa y cualitativa y la información se ha obtenido a través de cuestionarios. Como conclusión, se puede decir que trabajando temas candentes en el aula, el alumnado trabaja su capacidad crítica y se potencia su motivación y participación.

[EN] The main objective of social sciences is to prepare students to live together and act critically in society. To this end, it is necessary to promote appropriate methodologies and practices so that students learn with motivation and active participation during the teaching-learning process. For this reason, the aim of this research is to analyse the incidence and the need to work on burning issues in social sciences in Primary Education. In this sense, a group of 5th grade Primary School pupils and teachers from four schools took part in the research. The methodology used was quantitative and qualitative and the information was obtained through questionnaires. In conclusion, it can be said that by working on burning issues in the classroom, pupils work on their critical capacity and their motivation and participation are enhanced.
