Ethos demokratikoa, eskolako baloreak eta irakasleen diskurtsoa

Abstract

[EUS] Eskolak bere egin eta ikasle, irakasle, familia edota bestelako erakundeei transmititzen dizkien baloreek eskolaren izaera eta funtzionamendua baldintzatzen dute ezinbestean. Berdin gertatzen da eskola demokratikoetan. “Ethos demokratikoak”, hau da, “balore demokratiko”-ek “eskola demokratiko”-etako alderdi guztiak baldintzatzen dituzte. Eskola hauen helburua ikasleak hiritar parte-hartzaile bizikide izateko prestatzea da, eta bertan transmititzen diren baloreek helburu hau jarraitu behar dute. Balore hauen transmisioan irakasleen rolak duen garrantzia oso handia da. Ikerketa honetan eskolan lantzen diren baloreen inguruko testigantzak jasoko dira, eskola zehatz batean lanean jarduten duten lau irakasleri egindako elkarrizketen bitartez. Irakasleek izan eta ikasleei transmititu beharreko baloreen inguruan arituko dira irakasleak, baita hauek transmititzeko erabiltzen dituzten estrategien eta balore aldaketak baldintzatzen dituzten faktoreen inguruan ere. Gainera, baloreen lanketak curriculumeko gainontzeko edukien parekoa izan behar duen, gizarteak eskolako balore-aldaketan duen zer esana, irakasle bezala baloreen transmisioan aurkitzen dituzten baliabide mugak edota hezkuntza mailan baloreen lanketaren inguruan dagoen formakuntzaren inguruan arituko dira protagonistak.

[ES] Los valores que la escuela asume y transmite a alumnado, profesorado, familias u otras instituciones condicionan inevitablemente la naturaleza y el funcionamiento de la escuela. Lo mismo ocurre en las escuelas democráticas. El “ethos democrático”, es decir, los “valores democráticos”, condicionan todos los aspectos de las “escuelas democráticas”. El objetivo de estas escuelas es formar a los alumnos y alumnas para que sean ciudadanos y ciudadanas participantes, y los valores que en ellas se transmitan deben seguir este objetivo. La importancia del papel del profesorado en la transmisión de estos valores es muy grande. En esta investigación se recogerán testimonios sobre los valores que se trabajan en la escuela, concretamente mediante cuatro entrevistas realizadas a docentes de un centro educativo. El profesorado hablará sobre los valores a tener y transmitir al alumnado, las estrategias que utilizan para transmitirlos y los factores que condicionan los cambios de valores. Además, los protagonistas hablarán sobre si la transmisión de los valores debe ser considerada similar al resto de los contenidos del currículo, la influencia de la sociedad en el cambio de valores en la escuela, las limitaciones de recursos que encuentran en la transmisión de valores como docentes o la formación que hay a nivel educativo en torno a la transmisión de valores.

[EN] The values that the school assumes and transmits to students, teachers, families or other institutions inevitably condition the nature and functioning of the school. The same is true of democratic schools. The "democratic ethos", i.e. "democratic values", condition all aspects of "democratic schools". The aim of these schools is to educate pupils to be participating citizens, and the values transmitted in these schools should follow this aim. The role of teachers in the transmission of these values is essential. In this research we will collect testimonies about the values that are worked on at school, specifically through four interviews with teachers at a school. The teachers will talk about the values to be held and transmitted to students, the strategies they use to transmit them and the factors that condition changes in values. In addition, the protagonists will talk about whether the transmission of values should be considered similar to the rest of the contents of the curriculum, the influence of society on the change of values at school, the limitations of resources they encounter in the transmission of values as teachers or the training that exists at the educational level regarding the transmission of values.
