Grabado y memoria: Activando imágenes de archivos fotográficos mediante el grabado

Abstract

This article aims to highlight the importance of reactivating archival images through artistic creation, specifically through printmaking. To do this, I will present various artists who work with archival images through printmaking, and finally I will show examples from my own artistic practice of how these creations have established links with different viewers.; El artículo pretende visibilizar la importancia de reactivar imágenes archivísticas por medio de la creación artística y en concreto, por medio del grabado. Para ello, se van a nombrar a diversos artistas que trabajan con imágenes archivísticas desde el grabado, y por último se muestran desde mi práctica artística ejemplos de cómo estas creaciones han establecido vínculos con los espectadores.
