Resumen
Este artículo repasa la obra de Leire Bilbao, una escritora perteneciente a una nueva generación de autores vascos que ha logrado traspasar las fronteras del euskera. Desde que publicó su primer libro en 2006, ha combinado sus libros de poesía para adultos con la literatura infantil. Durante este periodo, también ha realizado una más que interesante incursión en el mundo del álbum en colaboración con Maite Mutuberria. Sus libros infantiles, que van desde el realismo crítico al realismo mágico, son narraciones aparentemente sencillas, que se pueden leer en varios niveles y que tienen una gran carga poética. Sin embargo, sus dos libros de poesía infantil son, sin duda alguna, la interacción más destacable entre la poética de la autora y su producción para niños y niñas.
