La paz empieza nunca (L. Klimovsky, 1960) y la invención de un relato falangista

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to analyze the film La paz empieza nunca (L. Klimovsky, 1960), based on the homonymous novel by Emilio Romero (1957). The film invents a story of exaltation of the Falange before, during and after the Civil War. War cinema, thriller and melodrama are genres found in this film, but what is relevant is the tension between the loss of political leadership of the Falange and the support and exaltation of the Franco dictatorship.; El objetivo del presente trabajo es analizar la película La paz empieza nunca (L. Klimovsky, 1960), basada en la novela homónima de Emilio Romero (1957). El filme inventa un relato de exaltación de la Falange antes, durante y después de la Guerra Civil. El cine bélico, el thriller y el melodrama son géneros que se encuentran en esta película, pero lo relevante es la tensión entre la pérdida de protagonismo político de la Falange y el apoyo y exaltación a la dictadura franquista.
