Igeriketa, txirrindularitza eta oinezko lasterketako atalen garrantzia triatloi lasterketetako errendimenduan
Abstract
[EUS] Triatloia hiru kirol modalitate biltzen dituen kirola da (igeriketa, txirrindularitza eta
oinezko lasterketa), bata bestearen jarraian egiten dira eta hauen artean trantsizioak daude.
Helburua atal bakoitza ahalik eta azkarren burutzea da, guzti hauen baturak bukaerako denbora
zehaztuko baitu. Hau honela, atal bakoitzak beraien artean eta bukaerako emaitzean duen
eragina ezagutzea oso baliagarria izan daiteke triatletek entrenamendu eta lasterketa taktikak
zehazterako orduan, errendimendu optimoa lortu ahal izateko. Ikerketa honek triatloiko
distantzia ezberdinetako lasterketetan atal bakoitzak bukaerako denborarekin duen erlazioa
aztertzeaz gain, zehazki txirrindularitzako atalak igeriketako ataleko denbora kontrolatuz
bukaerako denborarekin duen erlazioa aztertzea zuen helburu. Honetarako, Nazioarteko Triatloi
Batasuneko web-orriaren bidez 36 lasterketetako datuak bildu ziren (18 emakumezkoak; 18
gizonezkoak) distantzien arabera hiru multzotan sailkatuta (12 Distantzia Luze eta Erdia; 12
Distantzia Estandarra; 12 Sprint Distantzia). Pearsonen korrelazioa eta korrelazio erdi partziala
erabili ziren aldagaien arteko erlazioa aztertzeko. Txirrindularitzako eta oinezko lasterketako
atalak korrelazio balio altuak erakutsi zituzten Distantzia Luze eta Erdian (r = .84 ± .12 eta r = .85
± .11, hurrenez hurren) eta Sprint Distantzian (r = .86 ± .15 eta r = .83 ± .09, hurrenez hurren).
Distantzia Estandarrean oinezko lasterketak erakutsi zuen korrelazio handiena (r = .89 ± .06).
Igeriketako atalak erakutsi zituen hiru distantzietan korrelazio baliorik baxuenak. Igeriketako
ataleko denbora kontrolatzen zenean txirrindularitzako atalak bukaerako denborarekin zuen
erlazioa nabarmen jaisten zen, batez ere Sprint Distantzian. Beraz, badirudi orokorrean oinezko
lasterketa dela bukaerako denboran eragin handiena duen atala, jarraian txirrindularitza eta
azkenik, igeriketa. Hala ere, distantzia bakoitzean hauen ekarpenak aldatu egiten dira, eta
Larga y Media Distancia (r = .84 ± .12 y r = .85 ± .11, respectivamente) y Distancia Sprint
(r = .86 ± .15 y r = .83 ± .09, respectivamente).
[EN] Triathlon is a sport that encompasses three sports modalities (swimming, cycling and
running) in a continuous manner. The objective in triathlon is to carry out each modality as
quickly as possible, since the sum of all of them together with the transitions between them, will
determine the final time. Triathletes can find very useful to know the influence of each segment
both, on the rest of the segments and on the final result, to define their training and their racing
tactics for optimal performance. This study, in addition to analyzing the relationship of each
segment with the final time in the races of the different triathlon distances, aimed to analyze
the relationship of the cycling segment with the final time by controlling the time of the
swimming segment. For this purpose, data from 36 races (18 female, 18 male) classified by
distances in three groups (12 Long and Middle Distance; 12 Standard Distance; 12 Sprint
Distance) were collected through the website of the International Triathlon Union. Pearson's
correlation and semi-partial correlation were used to analyze the relationship between variables.
Cycling and running segments showed high correlation values in Long and Middle Distance
(r = .84 ± .12 and r = .85 ± .11, respectively) and Sprint Distance (r = .86 ± .15 and r = .83 ± .09,
respectively). In Standard Distance running showed the highest correlation (r = .89 ± .06).
Swimming showed the lowest correlation values at all three distances. When the time of the
swimming segment was statistically controlled the relationship of the cycling segment to the
final time dropped considerably, especially in the Sprint Distance. Therefore, it appears that in
general running is the segment that most influences the final time, followed by cycling and finally
swimming. However, at each distance the contributions of these vary, and the triathlete will
have to shape his or her training according to the distance at which he or she competes.
