Los lugares utópicos de las comunas contraculturales en España (1968-1986)

Abstract

Around 1968 and 1986 several countercultural communes proliferated in Spain. From the study of primary sources such as underground publications and interviews with their participants, the aim is to explain how these places were spatially conceived. The research shows that the diverse community manifestations of this period (urban, rural, ephemeral, etc.) were crossed by the belief that the human being is a social animal by nature. Under this premise, the communards tried to create alternative spaces to functionalist urbanism where individuals could be free by cooperating with each other.; En torno a 1968 y 1986 en España proliferaron numerosas comunas contraculturales. A partir del estudio de fuentes primarias como publicaciones underground y entrevistas a sus participantes, se pretende explicar cómo fueron espacialmente concebidos estos lugares. La investigación muestra que las diversas manifestaciones comunitarias del período (urbanas, rurales, efímeras, etc.) estuvieron atravesadas por la creencia de que el ser humano es un animal social por naturaleza. Bajo esta premisa, los comuneros trataron de crear espacios alternativos al urbanismo funcionalista donde los individuos pudieran ser libres cooperando entre sí.
