Víctimas, memoria y justicia (a propósito de la victimización terrorista)

Abstract

[ES] La victimización terrorista tiene una significación específica: la derivada de la materialización de un proyecto de destrucción o aniquilación de las víctimas por lo que son o representan. Este significado hermenéutico introduce inequívocas exigencias para la justicia. La primera, vinculada al deber de memoria de lo ocurrido, tanto desde la perspectiva del conocimiento de lo ocurrido como desde la vertiente del significado específico de lo acontecido. La segunda, centrada en la pública manifestación de la específica injusticia de la victimización padecida. La tercera, ceñida a posibilitar la reparación del daño injusto causado en su dimensión personal –reparando lo reparable y guardando memoria de lo irreparable– y en su dimensión política –impidiendo que el proyecto de convivencia cívica se nutra de elementos que posibilitaron, favorecieron o facilitaron la victimización terrorista–.

[FR] La victimisation terroriste a une signification particulière: celle découlant de la réalisation d’un projet de destruction ou d’annihilation des victimes pour ce qu’ils sont ou représentent. Cette signification herméneutique introduit des exigences sans équivoque pour la justice. La première, liée au devoir de mémoire de ce qui s’est passé, tant du point de vue de la connaissance de ce qui s’est produite que de la signification spécifique de ce qui s’est passé. La deuxième, axée sur la manifestation publique de l’injustice spécifique de la victimisation subie. Le troisième, serrée à faciliter la réparation des dégâts injustes causés dans sa dimension personnelle –en réparant le réparable et en gardant mémoire de l’irréparable– et sa dimension politique –en empêchant que le projet de coexistence se nourrit des éléments qui ont permis, favorisé ou facilité la victimisation terroriste.

[EN] Terrorist victimization has a specific significance: the derivative of the materialization of a project based on the destruction or annihilation of the victims for what they are or what they represent. This hermeneutical significance introduces unequivocal demands for justice. The first demand is linked to the duty of the memory of what happened, both from the perspective of the knowledge of what has occurred and from the side of the specific meaning of what has befallen. The second demand is focused on the public demonstration of the specific injustice of the victimization suffered. The third is closely connected to the repairing of the unfair damage caused in its personal dimension –repairing the repairable and remembering the unrepairable– and in its political dimension –preventing that the plan of civilized coexistence is supported by elements that made terrorist victimization possible, favored or facilitated.
