Abstract

Las posibilidades de promoción y mejora de la posición social que ofrecía la enseñanza profesional no dejarían indiferente al colectivo femenino durante la época de la Restauración, dentro del marco de la configuración del Estado moderno. La mujer de clase media entendía que las nuevas oportunidades laborales, que se abrían con la modernización de la industria, le permitirían integrarse en un ámbito desconocido hasta el momento. La vocación hacia estos espacios era utilizada como vía de liberalización. Para ello, hacía falta formarse profesionalmente y dar cabida a las demandas de capital humano que las exigencias económicas del momento demandaban. Este proceso fue el que le permitió abrirse lugar en otros espacios profesionales, aunque no dejaran de estar dominados por las condiciones que establecía el género.; The possibilities of promotion and improvement of the social position that offered the professional education would not leave indifferent to the feminine community during the period of the Restoration, inside the frame of the configuration of the modern State.
