Marañón: una visión personalista de la historia

Abstract

Gregorio Marañón had an outstanding activity as a medical scientist, clinician and pathologist, and their relationship with History, which devoted much attention, it can be considered under three different aspects: as a historian, and performer in the History of Spain and as participate and witness in the vicissitudes of time in which he lived. His historiographical concept is based on the integrity of life and history, and his best historiographical genre is the biography.; Gregorio Marañón tuvo una destacada actividad como médico científico, clínico y patólogo; y en su relación con la Historia, a la que tanta atención dedicó, se le puede considerar bajo tres distintos aspectos: como historiador, como interprete de la Historia de España y como participe y testigo en las vicisitudes del tiempo que le tocó vivir. Su concepción historiográfica se funda en la integridad de vida e historia siendo el género biográfico el mejor de sus géneros historiográficos.
