Las Suscripciones Patrióticas en Galicia

Abstract

The principal aim of this article is to analyse the Patriotic Subscriptions in Galicia. The sources of research undertaken not only allow to quantify the contributions and to emphasize his importance for the financing of the war and his coercive nature. Also they allow exploring her relations with the process of institutionalization of the regime in the locally level, the interclass and transverse character of the social sectors involved and his out-standing paper in the process of symbolic construction of the regime and in the reinforcement of the collective identities of the population.; El objetivo principal de este artículo es analizar las características que presenta en Galicia el fenómeno de las Suscripciones Patrióticas. El amplio catálogo de fuentes utilizado permite resaltar su importancia para la financiación de la guerra y su naturaleza esencialmente coactiva. Se destacan, asimismo, sus relaciones con el proceso de institucionalización del régimen en el ámbito local, el carácter interclasista y transversal de los sectores sociales implicados y su papel en el proceso de construcción simbólica del régimen y en el reforzamiento de las identidades colectivas de la población afecta.
