Two inscriptions survive from Augusta Emerita that were published by Mélida and García Iglesias many years ago, but have been incompletely studied. this paper argues that the first inscription contains an incompletely preserved carmen epigraphicum, while the second one involves a dedication to a new Augustalis.; Hay dos inscripciones emeritenses, publicadas hace ya tiempo por Mélida y García Iglesias, pero incompletamente estudiadas. en este artículo se considera que en una se ha escrito un carmen epigraphicum, que ha llegado incompleto, y la otra contiene la dedicatoria a un augustal.
