Habitar las rajaduras: auto-etnografías y narrativas de la identidad en G. Anzaldúa y A. Lorde

Abstract

Encontramos en la obra de Gloria Anzaldúa y Audre Lorde toda una narrativa sobre la identidad desde dos ejes fundamentales: por una parte, ambas llevan a cabo una suerte de auto-etnografía y viaje interior a través de la propia escritura, en la que el lenguaje y las palabras se entremezclan con la vida, los miedos y la memoria de las autoras; por otra, dicha escritura es entendida como el lugar para sanar las heridas, transformando el silencio y las opresiones sufridas en verdadera alquimia del alma. Se trata de nombrar lo que no tiene nombre, de repolitizar la rabia, de situarnos en las rajaduras del trauma, ese que la expropiación más absoluta que el racismo, el patriarcado y la colonización pueden provocar. Este artículo aborda este proceso de auto-construcción del yo en ambas autoras, proceso que es entendido siempre como trabajo colectivo y como herramienta de transformación del mundo. Para ambas, la escritura se transforma en un compromiso ético-político, suerte de imperativo que atraviesa no solo la forma y el estilo de escribir y hacer teoría, sino también de encarnar en nuestras propias existencias una conciencia feminista.; We find in the work of Gloria Anzaldúa and Audre Lorde a whole narrative about identity from two fundamental axis: on the one hand, both develop a kind of auto ethnography and inner trip through the writing itself, in which language and words are intertwined with life, fear and the memory of the authors. On the other hand, this writing is understood as the place to cure the wounds, transforming silence and the oppressions suffered into a true alchemy of the soul. It is about naming what has no name, repoliticize anger and situate us in the cracks of trauma, that the most absolute expropriation that racism, patriarchy and colonization could provoke. This article deals with this process of auto-construction of the self in both authors, process that is understood always as collective work and tool of world transformation. For both of them, writing transform itself in a ethic political compromise, a kind of imperative that not only goes through the form and style of writing and produce theory, but also the way to embody it in our own existences a feminist consciousness.
