Infancia, museo y memoria: voces insospechadas

Abstract

Utilizar los objetos cotidianos y juguetes como portadores de recuerdos, contribuye a comprender que la memoria de niños y niñas –en tanto personas y actores sociales– fortalece la narrativa de la historia. Incorporar las percepciones y representaciones de la infancia en el relato del museo, le otorga nuevas perspectivas al discurso y nos recuerda que el ejercicio de la memoria no es sólo un derecho de la adultez. Para ello debemos repensar la forma en que nos relacionamos con el patrimonio, pero sobre todo, debemos repensar la forma en que nos relacionamos con la infancia.; Using everyday objects and toys as carriers of memories, it helps to understand that the memory of children –as individuals and social actors– strengthens the narrative of history. Incorporate the perceptions and representations of childhood in the story of the museum, gives new perspectives to the speech and reminds us that memory exercise is not only a right of adulthood. So we must rethink how we relate to the heritage, but above all, we must rethink how we relate to children.
