Since the birth of the first IVF case in 1978, reproductive medicine is experiencing unprecedented rapid development. However, with the worldwide incidence of infertility increasing each year, reproductive doctors are facing greater challenges. Bioinformatics has been widely used in reproductive health research at various technical levels, including genome, transcriptome, proteome and metabolome, to analyze the normal functions of different organs in the reproductive system or their abnormal pathologies at different levels; it also promotes the progress of clinical diagnosis and treatment of reproduction-related illnesses, thus effectively promoting the development and innovation of reproductive health research on the basis of guaranteed rigour and scientificity.
