La Inmaculada Concepción de Gregorio Fernández en el convento de San Antonio de Vitoria-Gasteiz

Abstract

In this article is published the sculpture of the Immaculate Conception, not identified before until now, that carved Gregorio Fernández (1576 -1636) for the main altarpiece in the convent church of Saint Anthony in Vitoria-Gasteiz, between 1618 and 1621. Original modified due to later alterations. The image is located today in the altarpiece, last of all three pieces; En este artículo se da a conocer la imagen de la Inmaculada Concepción, no identificada hasta ahora, que talló Gregorio Fernández (1576-1636) para el retablo mayor de la iglesia conventual de San Antonio en la capital alavesa, entre 1618 y 1621.
