Caracterización de vida a fatiga de un acero de alta ductilidad

Abstract

[ES]Este trabajo tiene como objetivo estudiar la vida a fatiga y el límite de fatiga de un acero especial proporcionado por la empresa Vicinay; en este trabajo se le llamará “acero especial Vicinay” o AE-Vicinay. Se ha utilizado una máquina de flexión rotativa y veintiocho probetas, mecanizadas por la empresa, que cumplen la norma DIN 50113 (1). Se ha conseguido con ello la representación de la vida a fatiga para distintas cargas representada como una curva S-N según la ecuación Basquin (2), así como el límite de fatiga de este acero. También se han comparado los resultados obtenidos con los resultados que se habrían obtenido si se hubiesen cambiado algunos de los parámetros de los ensayos, por ejemplo, si se reduce el número de probetas por nivel, si se utilizan menos niveles, si se utilizan solo parte de los resultados etc. Esto dará una idea de la sensibilidad del acero a la hora hacer futuras caracterizaciones.

[EN]This work’s aim is to study the fatigue life and the fatigue limit of certain steel provided by the company Vicinay. A rotating bending testing machine has been used, as well as thirty tubes, mechanized by the company itself, which were under norm DIN50113. The fatigue life for different charges represented as a Basquin curve has been calculated, as well, as its fatigue limit. Also, this work compare the obtained results with the results that may have been obtained if the parameters of the would have been changed, for instance, if the number of tubes per level is reduced, if there are less levels, if only part of the results are used etc. This will show how many tubes are needed to correctly characterized this steel.
