Estudio de la red de comunicaciones inalámbricas 5G y simulación del despliegue en un entorno urbano

Abstract

[ES]En este trabajo se realizará la planificación de una red 5G. De entre las frecuencias disponibles se seleccionará una determinada banda y se indicarán las estaciones bases necesarias para dotar de cobertura a un entorno acotado de Bilbao. Además, se estudiará la nueva generación de redes inalámbrica 5G. En el estudio se incluirán cuestiones como: qué es, cuáles son sus requerimientos, el uso del espectro, su propagación, la arquitectura y los cambios que se realizarán en comparación con las tecnologías anteriores. Por otro lado, para llevar a cabo el despliegue, se realizará una simulación de cobertura incluyendo también la planificación y el presupuesto que conllevaría dicho despliegue a una operadora de telefonía móvil.

[EN]In this work the planning of a 5G network will be carried out on a certain band of frequencies, and the number of base stations necessary to provide a bounded environment of Bilbao will be concluded. In addition, the new generation of 5G wireless networks will be studied, solving questions such as: what is it, what its requirements are, the use of the spectrum, its propagation, the architecture and the changes that will be made in comparison with the current technologies. On the other hand, in order to bring about the deployment, a coverage simulation will be carried out and the planning and the budget that would involve such deployment to a mobile telephone operator will also be included.
