El miedo en el álbum infantil actual (1999-2016)

Abstract

[ES] El presente trabajo tiene por objeto analizar de qué modo es tratado el miedo en los álbumes infantiles actuales (1999-2016). Primeramente, comenzaremos con la fundamentación teórica, en la que se desarrollarán los siguientes puntos: los tabúes en el tratamiento del miedo, las reacciones (físicas y psíquicas) que este sentimiento provoca en el ser humano, las causas del miedo más comunes en la infancia y el trabajo que en pos de la desmitificación y la superación del miedo se está llevando a cabo desde la literatura infantil. Seguidamente, continuaremos con la exposición de un estudio de investigación de trece álbumes infantiles publicados en lengua castellana durante el periodo 1999-2016 y que tienen como tema principal el miedo. En este estudio se analizará el tratamiento del miedo en el álbum infantil, haciendo una clara distinción entre aquellas obras que ayudan a superar o a afrontar el miedo y aquellas que son utilizadas para producir dicha emoción. Finalmente, ultimaremos el trabajo con las conclusiones obtenidas del análisis de los datos recogidos en dicha investigación.

[EN] The present study aims to analyze how fear is treated in the current children´s albums (1999-2016). Firstly, it begins with the theoretical basis, in which the following points will be developed: taboos in the treatment of fear, the reactions (physics and psychic) that this feeling causes in the human being, the most common causes of fear in childhood and the work towards demystification and fear overcoming that is carried out in children´s literature. Then, it continues with the exhibition of a research study of thirteen children´s albums published in Spanish during the period 1999-2016 and whose main theme is fear. This study analyzes the treatment of fear in children´s albums, making a clear distinction between those Works that help overcome or face fear and those that are used to produce such emotion. Finally, the study finalizes with the conclusions obtained from the analysis of the data collected in the research.
