La conjunción de los sistemas cerramiento y estructural en la configuración del edificio: condicionantes de diseño, constructivos y estéticos

Abstract

[ES]Las pieles y fachadas estructurales son sistemas estructurales en los que estructura y cerramiento se unen creando un único elemento continuo o piel. Estos sistemas son muy utilizados en la arquitectura contemporánea y tienen un gran potencial. En este trabajo se analizan este tipo de sistemas, centrándose en las pieles que están constituidas por exo-estructuras. Además se hace un análisis de una serie de edificios existentes basados en este sistema estructural, estudiando las características de cada una de sus estructuras con el objetivo de llegar a unas conclusiones generales sobre su funcionamiento estructural. Finalmente, se analizan las posibles resoluciones de los cerramientos, sus características y las exigencias de confort que deben satisfacer.

[EN]Structural skins are a kind of structural systems that are really used in the contemporary architecture and which have huge potential. In this type of systems, the structure and the enclosure of the building join together generating a single continuous element or skin. In this project those systems are studied, focusing in the skins that are constituted by exo-structures. Besides, the analysis of real buildings based in this structural system is done, studying the main characteristics of them, with the aim of reaching elements that all of them have in common, in order to conclude about their structural functioning. In the other hand, different enclosure resolutions are analysed, their characteristics and the comfort demands that need to be satisfied.

[EU]Larru estrukturalak, egitura eta itxitura bat balira bezala lotuta dituzten sistema estrukturalak dira. Sistema hauek potentzial handia daukate eta bere erabilera oso zabalduta dago arkitektura garaikidean. Lan honetan sistema mota hauek ikertzen dira, exo-estrukturaz osatutako larruetan arreta berezia jartzen. Sistema estruktural honetan oinarritutako zenbait eraikuntzen azterketa egingo da ere. Azterketa horren helburua bere funtzionamendu estrukturalari buruzko ondorio orokorrak ateratzea da. Azkenik, zenbait itxitura posible aztertzen dira, bere ezaugariak eta bete behar dituzten erosotasun eskakizunak.
