[R_Igea-Cervera del Río Alhama_Valdebrajes] Documentación geométrica del yacimiento paleontológico de Valdebrajes (Igea y Cervera del Río Alhama, La Rioja)

Abstract

[ES] La parte documentada del yacimiento corresponde un área de unos 8 x 10 metros en un afloramiento rocoso junto al lecho del arroyo Valdevajes. La roca muestra varias impresiones correspondientes a huellas de dinosaurio de diferentes tamaños, aunque la documentación se ha centrado en las más pequeñas (10x10 cm). La documentación general del estrato se realizó utilizando fotografías desde un dron. Por otro lado, se obtuvieron modelos de tres rastros completos: BVL1, BVL2 y BVL5, también mediante fotogrametría y, además, se han modelado 13 huellas individuales mediante escáner de luz estructurada. Como resultados, se dispone de los modelos 3D tanto del estrato completo como de las huellas seleccionadas, asimismo se ha generado planos con vistas ortográficas perpendiculares a la losa en color verdadero y con gamas de colores que acentúan el relieve.

[EN] The intervention area is an outcrop near a creek bed, with a surface of 8 x 10 metres. The rock shows many impressions of different sized dinosaur footprints, although the work focussed on the smallest ones (of 10 x 10 cm). The geometric documentation of the surface was obtained from photographs taken from a drone. Moreover, three complete tracks were also documented by photogrammetry: BVL1, BVL2 and BVL5 and, finally, thirteen selected footprints, this time by means of structured-light 3D scanning. As results, 3D models of the complete visible part of the stratum and of the two detailed models of the selected footprints. Likewise, both orthographic views with photographic textures and colorized images highlighting the surface relief were produced.
