Análisis del conocimiento y aplicabilidad de las inteligencias múltiples en el ámbito educativo

Abstract

Normalmente para evaluar cuánta inteligencia posee una persona se utilizan los test de coeficiente intelectual, los cuales miden generalmente la inteligencia lógico-matemática. Howard Gardner establece que este método es insuficiente y afirma que existen 8 inteligencias y que cada uno las desarrolla en mayor o menor medida. El sistema educativo actual, se basa en las calificaciones obtenidas por los estudiantes, es decir, se consideran más inteligentes a aquellos con mejores resultados. Pero esto no es símbolo de mayor inteligencia. Como la sociedad es variante y dinámica, el mundo es cada vez más complejo. Por esto, están surgiendo nuevos problemas y retos alrededor nosotros. Las empresas, tienen que dar respuesta a esas nuevas necesidades y para esto, necesitan personas con capacidades diferentes. Por esto mismo, al igual que el mundo se desarrolla constantemente, la educación debería evolucionar al mismo tiempo, ya que como se ha podido comprobar no es óptima.
