Euskara Gernikako Lehen Hezkuntzako ikasleen ahozko komunikazioan

Abstract

[EU] Ikerlan honek euskara batuaren eta euskalkien erabilera aztertzen ditu, betiere ahozko komunikazioan fokatuz. Modu berean, hezkuntza-sistemak aspektu honetan duen eragina behatzen da. Horretarako, ingurune euskalkidun batean murgiltzen da, konkretuki, Gernika-Lumon. Udalerriko bi eskoletako Lehen Hezkuntzako 4. mailako ikasleek hartu dute parte honetan, itzulpenetan oinarritutako ahozko galdetegi bat betez. Helburua euskararen erabileraren azterketa egitea izan den arren, ikerketa are sakonagoa izateko, hiru aldagai zehaztu dira (ama-hizkuntza, eskola mota eta bizitokia), bakoitzari hipotesi bat egokituz. Aldagai horiekiko azterketa egin ostean, egiaztatu da euskara batuaren presentzia ez dela eragin handikoa oraindik inguru euskalkidunetan.

[ES] Este estudio analiza el uso del euskera unificado y de los dialectos, enfocándolos siempre en la comunicación oral. Asimismo, se observa la influencia del sistema educativo en este aspecto. Para ello, se sumerge en un entorno vascófilo, concretamente en Gernika-Lumo. En esta ocasión han participado alumnos de 4º de primaria de dos escuelas del municipio, rellenando un cuestionario oral basado en traducciones. Aunque el objetivo ha sido hacer un análisis del uso del euskera, para que la investigación sea aún más exhaustiva, se han definido tres variables (lengua materna, tipo de escuela y lugar de residencia), ajustando una hipótesis a cada una de ellas. Tras el análisis de estas variables, se ha comprobado que la presencia del euskera unificado no es todavía muy influyente en los entornos vascófilos.

[EN] This study, focused on oral communication, analyses the use of unified Basque and dialects. It also looks into the influence of the education system in this aspect. For that purpose, it is immersed in a Basque-speaking environment, specifically in Gernika-Lumo. On this occasion, 4th year primary school pupils from two schools in the municipality took part in an oral questionnaire based on translations. Although the aim was to analyse the use of Basque, in order to do the research even more exhaustive, three variables were defined (mother tongue, type of school and place of residence), adjusting a hypothesis to each of them. After analysing these variables, it was found that the presence of unified Basque is not yet very influential in Basque-speaking environments.
