Análisis del cuento literario Стальное Колечко de K. Paustovski

Abstract

[ES] El presente trabajo de fin de grado tiene como objetivo analizar el cuento Стальное Колечко de Konstantín Paustovski. A pesar de ser considerado un cuento literario, argumentamos que puede ser clasificado como un cuento popular, y por ende como cuento maravilloso, pues, como veremos más adelante, cuenta con varias de las características que componen los cuentos maravillosos. Para ello, nos basaremos en la Morfología del cuento de Vladímir Propp, en la cual se proponen ciertas pautas que los cuentos deben cumplir para poder considerarse cuentos maravillosos. No obstante, también mencionaremos las propuestas realizadas por otros teóricos y folcloristas acerca de este mismo tema. De entre todas las características propuestas por el autor, nos centraremos especialmente en los personajes y en el papel que estos desempeñan en la historia, las funciones y el reparto de las esferas de acción.

[ENG] The following Degree Final Project will mainly focus on the analysis of the tale Стальное Колечко by Konstantin Paustovsky. Even though it is considered to be a literary tale, we argue that it can also be classified as a folk tale, and, therefore, as a fairy tale, for as we shall see below, it has many of the characteristics that are considered the foundation of fairy tales. To do so, we will focus on Vladimir Propp’s Morphology of the Tale where the author gives certain guidelines that fairy tales must comply with in order to be considered one. Furthermore, we will also discuss some of the proposals made by other theorists and folklorist on this subject. Among all the characteristics presented by Propp, we will mainly focus on the characters and the role they play in the story, the different functions, as well as the distribution of the spheres of action of the story.
