In this paper, a per-phase model of a dual threephase Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine (PMSM) is mathematically developed and implemented in Simscape. This model provides accuracy and adaptability to easily represent machine operation under a number of phenomena such as open-phase faults, magnetic saturation, etc. Simulation results that show the correctness of the modelling approach are finally providedes_ES
