Derecho latino, organización cívica y élites hispanas

Abstract

[ES] Se presenta un análisis de las diversas fórmulas de organización cívica asociadas al derecho latino en las provincias hispanas durante los cuatro siglos en los que se extendió su actuación, desde la fundación de Carteia a la Constitutio Antoniniana. Se pone de relieve cómo fue una construcción jurídica eficaz, puesta al servicio de los intereses y del poder de Roma, y cuyo contenido esencial sedujo a las élites hispanas.

[EN] This is an analysis of the various forms of civic organization associated with the Latin right in the provinces of Roman Spain during the four centuries that it expanded its action, since the foundation of Carteia to the Constitutio Antoniniana. What stands out is how it was an effective juridic construction put to the service of the interests and the power of Rome and whose essential content attracted the elites of Roman Spain.
