Abstract

[ES] El artículo revisa dos inscripciones de la Provincia Hispania Citerior corrigiendo su lectura e interpretación. La primera, procedente de Angostina (Álava), arroja una nueva luz sobre la romanización de la región y sobre los ritos religiosos asociados con el viaje. La segunda conmemora la actividad cinegética de un nuevo prefecto del Ala II Flavia, acantonada junto a Rosinos de Vidriales, y llama la atención sobre los "venatores" al servicio del ejército.

[EN] The article offers a revised reading and a new interpretation of two inscriptions from the province of Hispania citerior. The first one was found in Angostina (Álava); it throws a new light on the problem of the Romanization of the area as much as on the rituals associated with travelling in the provinces. The second one records a hunting feat of a prefect of the ala II Flavia, stationed near Rosinos de Vidriales, unheard of until now, and draws attention to the "venatores" in the Roman army.
