Abstract

[EU]Azpiegiturak aspalditik izan dira funtsezko elementuak gizartearen garapenerako. Horrela, errepideak eta zubiak, besteak beste, pertsonak konektatzeko modu bat dira. Lan honek, azpiegituraren kontzeptu berri bat jorratzen du, azpiegitura berdea, hiriak eraikitzeko modua aldatzen ari dena, natura gizartearekin lotuz. Hala, azpiegitura horren garrantzia eta onura anitzak nabarmentzen dira bertan inbertitzeko arrazoi nagusi gisa. Era berean, finantzaketa-prozesua nolako den eta azpiegitura horrek egungo ingurumen-arazoak zuzentzen nola lagunduko duen erakutsiko da. [ES]Las infraestructuras han sido desde hace tiempo elementos clave para el desarrollo de la sociedad. Así, las carreteras y los puentes son, entre otras cosas, una forma de conectar a las personas. Este trabajo aborda un nuevo concepto de infraestructura, la infraestructura verde, la cual está cambiando la forma de construir las ciudades, relacionando la naturaleza con la sociedad. De ese modo, se destaca la importancia y los múltiples beneficios de esta infraestructura como principal motivo para invertir en ella. Asimismo, se mostrará cómo es su proceso de financiación y cómo esta infraestructura contribuirá a corregir los problemas ambientales actuales. Para finalizar, se han tomado algunos ejemplos de la infraestructura verde de diferentes ciudades europeas, con el fin de proyectar sus efectos sobre la sociedad, el medio ambiente y la economía.

[EN]Infrastructure has long been essential to the development of society. Thus, roads and bridges, among others, are a way of connecting people. This work focuses on a new infrastructure concept, green infrastructure, which is changing the way cities are built by connecting nature to society. In this way, the importance of this infrastructure and its many benefits are noted as the principal reason for investing in it. It will also be shown how the funding process is and how that infrastructure will help address current environmental issues. Finally, examples have been taken of the green infrastructure of several European cities to project their effects on society, the environment, and the economy.
