dc.description.abstract	In this study, we wish to describe the current Basque language in Renteria to determine which dialect it belongs to. In order to offer an accurate description of the variety and its sociolinguistic situation, we have decided to describe the speech of three age-groups with one clear objective in mind: to check whether the linguistic change shows specific trends so that this allows us to place that variety within the appropriate Basque dialect.
