dc.description.abstract[ES] Se propone un nuevo método para obtener la tasa de liberación de energía mediante la prueba de doble viga en voladizo para laminados de capas angulares. Se estudian dos secuencias diferentes, simétrica y antisimétrica. El hecho de que las capas están orientadas en diferentes ángulos y la existencia de tensiones residuales, provoca la existencia de mezcla de modos de fractura. El modelo analítico presentado, basado en la energía complementaria de una viga laminada, es una extensión de un modelo anterior para laminados unidireccionales e incluye efectos higrotérmicos. Los resultados experimentales de la tasa de liberación de energía obtenidos mediante el método del área concuerdan con los determinado por el enfoque propuesto.es_ES
dc.description.abstract[EN] A new method for obtaining energy release rate by the Double Cantilever Beam test for angle-ply laminates is proposed. Two different sequences, symmetric and anti- symmetric, have been studied. The fact that the layers are oriented at different angles and the residual stresses, causes the existence of mixed mode fracture. The analytical model presented, based on the complementary energy of a laminated beam, is an extension of a previous model for unidirectional laminates and includes hygrothermal effects. Experimental results of the energy release rate obtained by means of the area method agree with those determined by the proposed approach.
