dc.description.abstractIn this paper quota and license based management of VIII division European anchovy fishery is analysed under an optimisation framework and complete information assumption. The optimal prices of the catch or tax quotas, license fees or taxes on effort and the prices of perpetual transferable quotas (ITQ) and perpetual transferable licenses (ITL) are also calculated and the comparative static illustrated. Finally some considerations on the applicability and implementation of the introduced regulation methods are presented.en
